This nimble 4.3" parer, made from 26C3 high carbon steel, (a steel originally designed for razor blades) will gladly glide through your food with unrivalled ease.
An extremely tactile style due to the smaller blade length, the paring knife excels at small jobs and precision work.
The k-tip design improves on this further and puts the tip of the blade firmly under your control, whether peeling carrots, cutting limes for a G&T or filetting a trout.
The handle is made from gorgeous Bubinga, or African Rosewood. This has been stabilised to harden it, protect it decay, and to stop any dimensional changes that may be brought about by exposure to moisture.
The pins are copper and the liners are vintage micarta which match almost identically the colours of the wood grain.
Since the blade is made from carbon steel it is NOT stainless and will build up a beautiful and unique patina with use. This blue, grey and black colouring will protect the blade from rust as it builds and acts as a record of all the things it has been through (literally)!
