Made for hard work on the chopping board, this big K-tip western chef makes the ideal everyday companion in the kitchen.
The 214mm blade is capable of making short work of even large prep tasks and will tackle any ingredients with ease. Made of 1084 high carbon steel it takes a brilliantly sharp edge which it holds well and is easily maintained.
The handle is made from locally sourced and beautiful contrasting stabilised spalted beech with dyed and stabilised Karelian Birch spacers, with copper fixtures and fittings. The liners are dark forest green G10 to match the stunning spacers.
*Since the blade is made from carbon steel it is NOT stainless and will build up a beautiful and unique patina with use. This blue, grey and black colouring will protect the blade from rust as it builds and acts as a record of all the things it has been through (literally)!
